Forestry and Transport Manager

PE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Forestry and Transport Manager to join our client, Ireland’s biggest producer of timber products. The role is based in Fermoy, Co.Cork. This is a permanent position and the role is offering an excellent salary package. 

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a forester in log procurement.
• Experience in coordinating external haulier companies.
• Relevant third level qualification in forestry is desirable.
• Self-starter with ability to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of current legal requirements and guidelines as they relate to haulage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Excellent IT skills.
