Shipping/Logistics Officer

PE Global is currently recruiting a Shipping Officer for a developer and manufacturer of missiles based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. This role is a 12-month contract. 

Please note that, due to the sensitive nature of this client’s industry and the required security clearance, we are only able to accept applications from candidates with British Citizenship and no other nationalities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Timely delivery of product in line with project demands.
• Creation, completion and management of documentation (transport documents, hazardous goods note, customs formalities etc.)
• Liaise with transport both UK and International.
• Assist Export Control Department in compliance with regards to Export Licenses.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Maintain topicality with all transport legislation up to and including prohibited weapons level.
• Experience within an Engineering/manufacturing application. 
• Experience with SAP. 
• Detailed knowledge of export legislation.
