Senior Engineer – HUD Optical Simulation

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of head-up displays with a focus on optics simulation and design
• Technical responsibility for the topic of tool development for head-up displays in the areas of optics, optomechanics, HW/SW, testing and validation
• Training of new employees in the field of optics
• Further development of methods and tools to increase efficiency and expand skills
• Management and organization of comprehensive training courses and specialist meetings
• Participation in and participation in the Head-Up Display specialist rounds as part of our competence in optical systems
• Support for international development projects in the field of display systems

Education & Experience:

• Successfully completed studies in physics, optics and photonics, laser technology or in a comparable technically oriented course
• Several years of experience in the development of head-up displays or other optical display systems in the automotive sector at an expert level with a focus on optical simulation using ZEMAX
• Very good programming skills in C++, C#, Java, Python, etc. desirable
• Independent working style and high level of initiative as well as very good analytical and coordination skills
• Resilience even in complex project situations
• Communication skills in German and English
